“Është një vend i tretë që po shton praninë ushtarake në kufijtë tanë me Evropën dhe nuk është as shtet evropian”, u shpreh Peskov.
Më shumë se 80 tanke dhe qindra autoblinda kanë mbërritur tashmë në Gjermani, prej nga do të dërgohen në Evropën Lindore.
Brigada e blinduar amerikane do të kryejë gjithashtu stërvitje në shtetet baltike, edhe kjo pjesë e reagimit të Obamës ndaj ndërhyrjes ruse në Ukrainë dhe tentativës për të qetësuar partnerët nervozë të Aleancës së Atlantikut Verior.
Plani është që forcat ushtarake të ndërrohen me rotacion çdo nëntë muaj. Dërgimi i tyre vjen vetëm pak ditë përpara ceremonisë së betimit të presidentit të zgjedhur të Amerikës, Donald Trump, i cili ka lënë të kuptohet se dëshiron ngrohjen e marrëdhënieve me Moskën.
