The chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), Ali Ahmeti, received in a meeting on Tuesday, the publicist Veton Surroi, who asked Skopje for support to be elected secretary of the RCC.
Ahmeti said that with Surroi they talked about “the political momentum in which the region is, the importance of maintaining the pro-Western orientation of our countries and the responsibilities of the European future”.
“We also discussed together the progressive perspective that will be created by the rounding up of more efficient connection projects between our countries such as: Corridor 8, Arbërit Street, Tetovë – Prizren Road, the common border crossing and all signed cooperation agreements in the spheres of different”, said Ahmeti through a post on Facebook.
The head of the DUI also said that “we must join forces to lead together on the path without another alternative, that of integration into the European Union”.
